The City of Brooksville would like to recognize outstanding men and women who have made significant positive contributions to the history, culture and/or economy of our community. Each year the Brooksville City Council asks for nominations of citizens for this prestigious award.
Do you know someone that should be recognized for their community contributions? Submit your nomination for this prestigious award by City of Brooksville.

On May 19, 2018 the UPTOWN Gallery would be honored to have you help us celebrate our 20th Birthday by submitting 3-5 pieces of your most outstanding artwork. Fun pieces, serious pieces, or your favorite type of work. You may have created a fun cartoon or a serious portrait or you may love Landscapes. You may be an impressionist or pour your colors onto the canvas.

On March 3, 2018 the UPTOWN Gallery would be honored
to have you submit 3 - 5 pieces of your latest artwork of your choice.
Fun pieces, serious, or your favorite type of work. Be creative and have fun. 
All mediums welcome, including 3-D art if you have any. 
 
Artwork must be submitted on March 3, 2018 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
All art pieces should be gallery ready to hang with wire securely attached to the
back of the work.  A business card size card to accompany your art with
your name, medium used and asking price or 'not for sale'. 
Attached the card to the back or bottom of your art work.
Glass enclosed case available for the smaller art pieces.

City of Brooksville Recycling Program

City of Brooksville Recycling Division will no Longer Pick up

The Blue Bags with Recyclable Materials.  

Customers are asked to please provide a permanent recycling container(s) and
affix a recycling sticker to the container. The city will provide a recycling decal to be
placed on your container(s). On recycling days, please place your recycling container(s)
at the curb with the decal facing the road so collectors can identify the recyclables.

On the decal is a list of what the City does and does not recycle.
If you do not have a decal they are available at no charge at:

The City of Brooksville Adopt-A-Street Program recognizes the commitment of volunteers to keep our City’s roadways free from litter and debris.

Besides presenting a poor appearance, litter and trash can cause traffic hazards and affect drainage. Adopt-A-Street allows citizens to demonstrate community pride, make a positive statement for a clean, attractive community and help the city reduce costs. Individuals, community groups, business owners, schools, churches and service clubs are invited to participate.
