This is a supervisory position requiring the application of planning, organizing, and leading. Reports to the Public Works Director the progress of activities through written reports and meetings. This position is responsible for supervising crew schedules, production, quality control, and implementing compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The incumbent must be able to function independently in decisions relating to the construction, repair and maintenance of the City's drinking water, wastewater collection, and water reuse systems. Will be called out in emergencies, scheduled to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This position is supervised by the Public Works Director or designee.

This is an administrative position requiring the performance of highly-diverse clerical and administrative work for the Community Development Department, primarily assisting the Community Development Director.  Primary functions are directed through and supervised by the Community Development Director.

This position installs, repairs and maintains water and sewer system components, according to City standards and regulations; ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. This position requires mechanical aptitude to exercise good independent judgment. Subject to call out in emergencies, scheduled to work nights, weekends and/or holidays on occasion as necessary. This position is supervised by the Crew Leader with ultimate oversight by the Public Works Supervisor. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with one (1) year experience working in water and sewer line construction and maintenance or comparable experience.  Please see the attached job description for specific details to include any information and/or documentation for special license/certification.

A Sanitation Collector loads/unloads solid waste/recyclables to and from sanitation vehicles. The person in this job will be expected to safely perform manual tasks with speed and efficiency. This person works under the daily authority of a Sanitation Operator (vehicle driver) who will assign duties needed to complete daily collection routes. This person will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance of sanitation vehicles and dumpsters. Job performance will be based on compliance with established guidelines, satisfactory performance of required job duties and schedules set by the Department. This person must be capable of being insured under the City’s insurance carrier. A person in this job will perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
