Name:Horticulture Tech

Heavy semi-skilled and manual work involving maintenance, repair and construction tasks, including tasks requiring special knowledge and requiring use of tools, equipment, and light automotive equipment. Technical and manual work related to the planting, removal and care of various plants, shrubs, trees and flowers located throughout the City, including Street-Right-Of-Ways. May supervise other workers in accordance with specific instructions and defined procedures.  May be called out in emergencies, scheduled to work nights, weekends and/or holidays. Position is supervised by the Parks and Recreation Director.


This is a full-time, hourly position with great benefits to include paid holidays, sick and vacation leave, medical, dental, life insurance and retirement plans.  Applications will be accepted for this position until filled.
